Course Description:
The Faculty Orientation and Resource Course is designed to support new and continuing faculty in successfully navigating their roles within the program. This course provides a comprehensive overview of institutional policies, academic expectations, and teaching responsibilities. Faculty will be introduced to essential resources, including curriculum frameworks, course design standards, learning management systems, and student support services.

Emphasis is placed on effective instructional strategies, assessment and evaluation methods, clinical and classroom expectations, and maintaining compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards. Faculty will also gain access to key tools, templates, and best practices to promote student success and ensure consistency across courses.

By the end of this course, faculty will feel confident in their ability to deliver high-quality instruction, uphold program standards, and utilize available resources to support both teaching excellence and student achievement.
